The Medical Facility offers high-quality, cost-effective, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. We are proud to offer the only acute care, inpatient rehab unit in the area and are committed to helping patients reach their highest achievable levels of independence through customized treatment programs, home programs and prevention education. Our services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.  Our Rehabilitation staff is comprised of a variety of specialists with specific expertise in various clinical specialties. We are unique in our ability to offer multiple services in one setting.

Services include:

    Functional capacity evaluations
    Identification and maximization of movement potential
    One-on-one therapist/patient care
    Manual therapy techniques for chronic pain
    Work conditioning programs for work-related injuries
    Education and techniques for maintaining a healthy, functional lifestyle

Specific services include:

    Evaluation and treatment of patients with neuromuscular conditions.
    Evaluation and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
    Evaluation and treatment of patients with neurological deficits following a stroke.
    Training of amputee patients in preparation for, and use of, prosthetic limbs.
    Strengthening and instruction in functional activities for patients recovering from acute medical problems, trauma and surgical procedures.
    Instruction of patients and caregivers in safe, effective function geared toward independence.
    Instruction in self-care and home exercises to promote self-management of symptoms.
    Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic wounds to facilitate healing.
    Cardiopulmonary conditioning and strengthening.
    Evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain.
    Consultation with other healthcare professionals regarding patients' requirement / potential for rehabilitation.
    Community outreach and education for back care, posture evaluation and correction and prevention of falls.


Job Requirements

Must have current Texas Physical Therapy License.  Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred.  Will allow to go for completion of CPR upon hire.

Two (2) to three (3) years experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist preferred.  Previous experience in Acute and Sub-Acute patient care preferred.  All applicants have to take and pass a Customer Centered Assessment (CCC) to be considered.
