As a Speech-Language Pathologist you will: • Provide speech-language services in accordance with federal, state and local laws which govern how Speech-Language Pathologists may practice. Adheres to standards and practices of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). • Evaluate hearing or speech and language test results, medical information and/or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, and other associated disorders. • Administer hearing or speech and language evaluations, tests, and other examinations to patients to collect information on the type and degree of impairment. • Develop and implement treatment plans for speech and/or language related problems based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, social workers, etc. • Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, which may include but is not limited to sign language, lip reading, and voice improvement. • Monitor patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly. • Communicate patient status and needs to the patient, the patient’s family and other professionals, as appropriate.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
•	Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Speech-Language Pathology.
•	Position requires a minimum of two (2) years job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Prior clinical experience a must.
•	Excellent clinical skills.
•	Strong understanding of state, federal and local regulations pertaining to speech-language pathology.
•	Understanding of clinical documentation requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, other payors and ASHA. .
•	Work effectively as a team member.
•	Strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
•	Pediatric Experience preferred
•	CCC required
•	Oral/Motor Feeding Experience preferred
