Located 23 miles east of Palm Springs, 77 miles east of Riverside, and 127 miles east of Los Angeles in the Cochella Valley of Southern California Colorado Desert Region, the Job Function Matching Coordinator is responsible for evaluation, planning and implementing Function Job Matching testing of employees including:  new hires and transfers; injured workers – work comp, non-work related injuries or medical conditions returning from LOA and Fitness for Duty exams.  

The Coordinator will coordinate with the Employee Health & Wellness Coordinator and the medical team on quick, safe return to full duty for employees and will work closely with Employee Health Coordinator and Recruiter on post offer testing.  The Coordinator will also be responsible for development of policies and procedures and will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the job function descriptions annually.  Performs other duties as assigned.  Relocation available

Job Requirements

-Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist Licensure Required
-Knowledge of return to work management, including physician, disability manager and therapist roles
-Knowledge of transitional and light duty, reasonable accommodations and disability issues
-Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act, state Human Rights legislation and EEOC in relation to hiring, return to work and reasonable accommodation for qualified disabled workers
-Ability to be trained and become proficient in Job Function Matching
-Certified in DSI Job Function Matching components within 6 months of hire
