Seeking a Full Time Time Physical Therapist for a Long Term Acute Care Hospital. A Long Term Acute Care Hospital provides specialty care for patients with medically complex needs who are critically ill and/or have multi-system complications or failure which require hospitalization for an extended period of time.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating a patient’s rehabilitation potential, establishing realistic goals, and planning and administering a treatment program which best meets that patient’s individual functional capacity and tolerance to achieve that goal. All Physical Therapy treatments and modalities are in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.

Job Requirements
-Bachelor Degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
-Maintains a current Louisiana State License
-Current BCLS certification.
-Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
-Additional languages desirable.
-Basic computer knowledge.
