As Certified Hand Therapist you will: • Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or developmental problems in accordance with occupational therapy practice. • Evaluate and develop plans of care and performs all treatment in accordance with the regulated standards of care. • Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine occupational therapy services required. Develop objective patient goals and establishes the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician. • Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for re-evaluation. • Evaluate patients' progress and adjusts treatment to achieve maximum benefit. • Provide patients with a meaningful rehab experience utilizing excellent patient care and customer service.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
•	Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
•	Position requires a minimum of two (2) years job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Prior clinical experience a must.
•	Strong understanding of state, federal and local regulations pertaining to outpatient rehabilitation.
•	Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic health records for Medicare, Medicaid, other payors and the AOTA or APTA.
